U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests Fugitive Wanted in Montana
Last night, the United States Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force, assisted by Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, located and arrested a wanted Montana fugitive. The fugitive was booked into jail, pending extradition back to Montana.
On February 19, 2025, Montana’s Fourth Judicial District, Missoula County, issued an arrest warrant for Jacob Lee Gunn for violating the conditions of his pre-trial supervision. (Count I-X: sexual abuse of children-possession of material, felonies, and count XI: sexual abuse of children, a felony.)
On February 20, 2025, the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office and United States Marshals Service – Montana, in coordination with the United States Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, located and apprehended Gunn in Rockford, Washington, without incident.
Gunn was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail as a Fugitive, pending extradition to Montana.
