Deputies Respond to Reported Domestic Violence Assault
Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported domestic violence assault call and contacted the victim. She was transported to the hospital to be evaluated and treated for non-life-threatening physical wounds. After being cleared, she was released from the hospital.
Major Crimes Detectives were summoned to the scene to conduct the investigation.
On September 30, 2024, at approximately 3:20 pm, Spokane County Deputies, assisted by Airway Heights Police Officers, responded to the report of a possible domestic violence assault at a residence near S. Holly Road and W. Silver Street on the West Plains.
Deputies/Officers contacted the adult female victim inside the home. She was provided treatment at the scene and transported to the hospital to be evaluated and further care for non-life-threatening physical wounds.
The suspect was not located at the home when Deputies arrived.
Major Crimes Detective responded to the scene to investigate.
Initial information indicates an adult male suspect, known to the victim, assaulted her inside the residence. Detectives are in the early stages of this domestic violence assault investigation and do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the general public in connection to this incident.
At this time, the suspect has not been located, and no arrests have been made.
