Sheriff’s Dive Team Searching for Teen Swimmer in Clear Lake 

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Marine Patrol, and Dive Team Members are searching for a teen female who was reportedly last seen jumping from a boat into the waters of Clear Lake.    

On July 27, 2024, just prior to 1:00 pm, Spokane County Sheriff Deputies responded to a report of a juvenile female who had jumped off a boat with a friend but didn’t resurface.    

Marine Enforcement Patrol Boats and Dive Team Members were also called to assist in the search.  

This is an ongoing search operation, and no additional information is available at this time. 

The Sheriff’s Office asks boaters and people in the area to keep their distance so that Emergency Operations Boats, Dive Team Members, and Deputies can safely continue their search efforts.
