UPDATE: Robbery Suspect Located and Arrested
After the pictures of the blue Chevrolet Silverado truck used by the suspect were released, Major Crimes Detectives received TIPs regarding a possible suspect.
Through their continued investigation, Major Crimes Detectives identified the armed robbery suspect as 57-year-old Zephery G. Strandy.
Investigative information and witness statements indicate Strandy borrowed the truck and had control of it during the timeframe the Walgreens robbery was committed.
On January 29, 2025, Detectives located Strandy at a residence in the 6700 block of N. Crestline Street. During the contact, Detectives also located and seized a red/maroon hoodie sweatshirt and a black ski mask, both similar to the ones worn by the suspect at the time of the robbery.
With probable cause established, Detectives arrested Strandy and booked him into the Spokane County Jail for Robbery 1st Degree.

Deputies Respond to Reported Armed Robbery at Walgreens
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a reported armed robbery at Walgreens on N. Division. Forensic Unit personnel documented the scene and collected evidence.
On January 27, 2025, at approximately 10:40 am, Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported armed robbery at Walgreens, 7905 N. Division.
The store employee stated the suspect pulled out a pistol, pointed it at him, and demanded narcotics. He said the handgun appeared to be a real gun, and he was in fear for his life.
The suspect was last seen fleeing the location, northbound on Division, in a blue Chevrolet extended cab pickup with what appeared to be several items in the bed.
The suspect is described as a white male, 50-60s, approximately 5’10”-6’, skinny, wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, sunglasses, and a dark facemask.
