Spokane Valley City Council Recognizes Deputy Ball’s “Heroic Actions”


Celebrate Deputy Ball’s Heroic Actions

At the July 23 City Council meeting, Mayor Haley and Councilmembers recognized Deputy Ball with the Spokane Valley Police Department for his heroism, dedication and invaluable contribution to our community’s safety. On July 8, Deputy Ball observed smoke coming from a Valley neighborhood, located a residence on fire, entered the structure and successfully ensured the two adults got out safely escaping the rapidly spreading fire. Councilmembers presented Deputy Ball with a letter of appreciation, citing, “Your actions embody the courageous spirit and dedication to public safety that we hold in the highest regard here in Spokane Valley. We are incredibly grateful to have individuals of your caliber serving in Spokane Valley.”
